So, hints abound that something big is going to happen Oliver Queen at the end of the whole wedding thing DC is doing. Since Ollie doesn't appear on the cover of the new Green Arrow/Black Canary series, people are saying that his might once again meet his maker (even though he was standing on the "safe" part of that legendary publicity drawing). If this does happen, I think I know how it will.
1. In Countdown, we see that there is a renegade Monitor killing any character who were from a different reality or cheated death. Anybody who circumvented their fate in some way.
2. Ollie has died once before and was brought back to life, in essence, cheating his fate.
3. Therfore, if Ollie is to die, I believe it will be at the hands of the rogue Monitor.
This is just a guess. Maybe it will happen this way, maybe it won't.
I no longer even trust DC's covers until I have them in my hand. Don't overreact.
