I have made Wikipedia!!! (and other stuff)

I have a secret shame. I google my own name.

I know, I know. It is egotistical. But I do look to see how far my writing has made it.

Well, I made it into Wikipedia (and not by my own doing either).

Apparently, my PopMatters review of All-Star Batman 1-3 has been referenced in Frank Miller's Wikipedia page.  I don't know if this is a sign of how far I've come as a writer or proof of all the bad things they say about Wikipedia (I mean, if they use my writing in an entry...)

Kidding! Kidding! I am honored (and I swear that I did not put it there myself!)

But I haven't checked my own name in a while, because my post on Jenna Jameson's new comic from Virgin caused quite a stir about three weeks ago. I made blog@Newsarama, which was more of a "this is what they are saying" post than anything else. But it also hit the blog of someone named Nenena, who takes issue with teh supposed rampant sexism in my above post (to be fair, I'm not the only one she focuses on)

Of course, she/he takes what I said out of context. For those of you clicking the link above, the section she/he quotes topic #3, the one mocking Virgin for hiring a porn star to write a mainstream book. Only she/he removes the first two sentences, making it look like I am simply just diminishing Jameson's intelligence for being a porn star. "Sigh", indeed.

At least I come out looking better than some of the other people she/he links to. (And since I have already been accused of sexism, I just want everyone to know I am only using the she/he thing because I am not 100% certain if Nenena is a man or a woman and I don not want to be insulting.)
